Miriam Tenner Refocuses On Chicago, Romantic Comedies and the Healthcare System Through Her New Short Film, Cash and Quinn

The film humorously tackles hard subjects while being grounded in the shared experience of dating and relationships.

The inevitability of finding yourself omitting information to a new dating partner is nothing new in 2018. For Chicago based writer and director Miriam Tenner, that's just where it begins.

Cash and Quinn is a dark romantic comedy starring Tim Ryder (Second City, Netflix's MST3K) as a man who receives a misdiagnosis of cancer before meeting Quinn played by Meghan Reardon (Goodman Theater), a psych graduate studying terminally ill patients.

Filmed independently and shot in Chicago, Cash and Quinn was created with a diverse group of artists behind the scenes. The film humorously tackles hard subjects while being grounded in the shared experience of dating and relationships.

Cash and Quinn will be premiering online through Vimeo On Demand starting November 1st 2018.
