CBT Nuggets Announces Renewal of Randy V. Puckett Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship program to benefit computer science students enrolled at Oregon State University's Cascade campus.
EUGENE, Ore., Oct. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CBT Nuggets, a leading provider of online video training for IT professionals, is proud to announce the renewal of its Randy V. Puckett Memorial Scholarship program with Oregon State University.
Through a partnership with the Oregon State University Foundation, CBT Nuggets will provide $50,000 annually in scholarship money through the 2024-25 academic year to Oregon State University computer science students who are enrolled at OSU's Cascade campus in Bend, Oregon.

To date, CBT Nuggets and OSU have awarded $500,000 in scholarship monies to Oregon State University students. A total of 64 students have earned Randy V. Puckett Memorial scholarships.
Yong Bakos, OSU Cascades Computer Science Program Lead and Instructor, said that the Randy V. Puckett Memorial Scholarship aligns ideally with the OSU Cascades computer science program and its principles.

Established in 2014, the Randy V. Puckett Memorial Scholarship honors the memory and legacy of former CBT Nuggets team member and OSU alumni Randy Puckett, who died in 2013.
OSU-Cascades was established in 2001 and opened its Bend campus in 2016. It offers more than 30 degrees, minors, and options. Student enrollment is at nearly 1,300 students.
