CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Five-year partnership designed to help advance culinary, nutrition, and hospitality excellence across the senior living industry
CCL Hospitality Group (CCL) announces that it has become a Founding Partner of the International Council on Active Aging® (ICAA) Culinary, Nutrition & Hospitality Network, a growing industry initiative focused on elevating the role of culinary, nutrition and hospitality in senior living.
The five-year partnership combines ICAA's leadership in active aging and wellness with CCL's expertise in culinary and hospitality services to help advance practices that enhance resident well-being, experience, and quality of life.
"Culinary and hospitality are no longer simply support services—they are fundamental to the resident experience and to how senior living communities deliver on the promise of wellness," said Colin Milner, CEO and founder of the International Council on Active Aging. "Our goal with this Network is to bring leaders together to challenge traditional thinking, identify what excellence looks like today and provide the industry with practical ways to move forward. Having CCL Hospitality Group join us as a Founding Partner strengthens our ability to do that."
The ICAA Culinary, Nutrition & Hospitality Network (ICNHN) was created to help senior living organizations rethink and elevate culinary, nutrition and hospitality as integral components of wellness and organizational performance.
It brings together senior living executives, culinary and hospitality leaders, wellness professionals, researchers and industry partners to identify emerging challenges, share promising practices and develop actionable resources for the industry.
The Network also convenes the leaders through an invitation-only forum focused on developing practical solutions to issues including rising costs, workforce challenges, changing resident expectations, supply-chain pressures, nutrition, wellness and the evolving role of hospitality in senior living.
"This is about more than improving foodservice," said CCL Executive Vice President of Operational Excellence Victoria Vega. "It is about recognizing the tremendous influence culinary, and hospitality can have on health, social connection, engagement, choice, dignity and the overall experience of living in a community. Together, we have an opportunity to redefine what excellence looks like."
As a Founding Partner, CCL will work alongside ICAA and participating industry leaders to support the continued development of the ICNHN with Victoria joining their advisory board. "The future of aging services is not one-size-fits-all. We must architect experiences that meaningfully support individual well-being," she shares. "Together, ICAA's resources and CCL's operational expertise can help communities turn this vision into action and support healthier, more fulfilling lives for the residents we serve."
