Milestone transaction transfers ownership of the community's central amenity to its homeowners and marks a new chapter for the 345-home Homestead community
DORAL, Fla., Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cedar Pointe by Lennar Homeowners Association, Inc. today announced the completion of its acquisition of the community clubhouse from Lennar, transferring ownership of Cedar Pointe's central recreational and amenity facilities to the Association.
The transaction represents a significant milestone for Cedar Pointe, a 345-home master-planned community in Homestead consisting of villas, townhomes and single-family homes. The clubhouse serves as the centerpiece of the community's amenity program, which includes a swimming pool, fitness center and tot lot.
The Association acquired the clubhouse for $5.934 million, completing a process that required the Board to evaluate the long-term financial, operational and ownership implications of bringing the property under Association control.

Clubhouse acquisitions are an established feature of some developer-built master-planned communities in South Florida. In previous Lennar developments, homeowners associations have similarly acquired clubhouse and recreational properties from the developer, including a $6.9 million transaction at Venetian Parc in southwest Miami-Dade and a $15.9 million clubhouse acquisition at Landmark at Doral.
With the closing complete, Cedar Pointe will assume responsibility for the ownership and long-term stewardship of the clubhouse property. Veridian will support the Association as it integrates the asset into community operations, including financial administration, maintenance planning, vendor coordination, amenity operations and resident services.
