Cedar Grove Elementary Wins Grand Championship at SAE International’s 9th Annual AWIM International JetToy Competition
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) April 24, 2015 -- Cedar Grove Elementary’s Team 6 placed in every category and was named grand champion of the 9th Annual A World In Motion® (AWIM) International JetToy Competition, which was held Wednesday at the SAE 2015 World Congress.
The team from Cedar Grove won the accuracy and time categories and placed second in the distance and weight categories en route to the championship.
In the JetToy Challenge, Engineering Design Teams of four students compete in distance, accuracy, weight carrying and timed events. This year’s competition was sponsored by Johnson Controls, Bosch, Kia, TRW, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Honda and Henkel.

- 3rd place - Cooper Upper Elementary Team 12
