Cedar Management Group Announces That Company President, Paul Greiner, Has Achieved the PCAM Certification Through the Community Associations Institute
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) December 05, 2013 -- Paul has achieved the highest level of certification available by the Community Association Institute (CAI). The Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification requires many years of experience and over 100 hours of education. To achieve a PCAM certification, one must complete many different prerequisites, including five years of direct community association management experience. The applicant working to gain the PCAM designation must have completed and passed the Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) certification and must pass six additional courses of study. Once these certifications are met, the applicant must complete and pass an intensive narrative case study on an actual community association.
The purpose in gaining a PCAM stems from the desire of a management company to provide their clients with the highest level of service and industry knowledge. The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Cedar Management Group is one of the few companies in the Carolinas that have a PCAM on staff. Cedar is a locally owned HOA and Condominium Association Management Company that works hard to bring out the best in the communities they manage. Cedar is truly a trustworthy company that gives back and proves that having a local management company benefits your association.
Paul A. Greiner, President of Cedar Management Group says of this new certification, “I’m excited to have achieved this honor. I want to thank my staff and clients for allowing me the time and energy to dedicate to working towards this industry achievement. I know the knowledge and experience I have gained in working with CAI as well as my over 13 years of managing community associations will continue to allow Cedar Management Group to be a leader in association services for communities in both North and South Carolina.” Greiner continued by saying, “Our company has invested significant resources and time by having our staff continue their industry education via CAI. Currently we have 13 people on staff with some level of certification and are working to increase that number in 2014. This investment in our staff and industry solidifies our commitment to the highest level of service and allows us to be the Leader in Association Management Services in both North and South Carolina.”
