Celebrity Daughter Turns Elder Abuse Battle Into Education and Awareness
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) October 16, 2015 -- Kerri Kasem, the daughter of the late American Top 40 DJ, Casey Kasem, is bringing national awareness to the forefront to help stop elder abuse with its Kasem Cares Conference on Aging. The educational goal of the Kasem Cares Conference on Aging is to offer professionals and practitioners the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, exchange information on best practices, and learn about the latest research and trends.
Registrants and contributions are encouraged for this national conference, which will be held April 21, 2016 through Saturday April 23, 2016 in Orange County, California. The conference is open to the public. This conference will be accredited by the APHA. Physicians, Nurses, and Health Educators will be eligible to receive continuing education credits by attending this conference.
The Kasem Cares 2016 Conference on Aging is currently accepting speakers, which can be in the form of a single presenter session, a panel, a skill-building workshop, a think tank, a round table, or a poster-creating session.
Kerri Kasem, founder of Kasem Cares, has made raising elder abuse awareness her life’s mission.
