STATEN ISLAND, N.Y., Feb. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Celerant Technology, a leading provider of innovative retail point of sale and eCommerce solutions for the toy and gift industry, today announced that their powerful, yet simple, eCommerce platform, Cumulus eCommerce™, now offers a pre-populated database of educational toys, kids arts and crafts, and school/teacher supply products from Educators Resource, allowing toy shops to launch their website and start selling online with ease. In addition, Cumulus eCommerce offers flexible options allowing retailers to import products and drop ship through their distributors; utilize in-store kiosks to access available products from vendors; and add new web pages on-the-fly in order to stand out from the competition.

Display products from vendors simultaneously via 'online data feeds'
Through Celerant's vendor integrations, toy retailers can easily display products from multiple vendors simultaneously, plus their own physical inventory– all in a centralized view; and prioritize which vendor's products to sell first. Cumulus eCommerce can pull 'data feeds' from each distributor, consisting of product descriptions, images and available stock levels, and immediately display those products online in nearly real-time– giving the impression of an 'endless aisle' of inventory. Cumulus also offers the ability for retailers to optimize and make any changes to the data that comes from their distributors to further differentiate their website.

Set pricing rules, manage vendors and customize the website with ease
Cumulus eCommerce allows toy retailers to easily manage their pricing strategy, and offer promotions, coupons and loyalty programs. Pricing rules can be based on each distributor; specific categories, departments and pricing levels; a percentage increase; or a dollar amount over cost. In addition, toy retailers can easily change their vendor's product descriptions while in edit mode on their website.

With an easy-to-use drag-and-drop editing tool, toy retailers can make cosmetic changes to their website on-the-fly; change the color scheme of the site, change the order of their departments and the positions in which their products are displayed; create product collections for their home page or new landing pages; and update specific product descriptions and images. While in edit mode, retailers can click on any product to view which distributor it comes from, their real-time on-hand availability, and the cost for that product- all with just a few clicks.

Take advantage of in-store kiosks to offer more products, in-store
When a customer comes into a store looking for a product the retailer doesn't carry, the retail associate can use an in-store kiosk or mobile device to access their vendors' available product data, search for the brand and item, and then complete the sale in-store, via their website's shopping cart. Celerant's retail system will automatically send the order to the distributor to fulfill, allowing customers to have it shipped to their own homes or the store.
