We are pleased to welcome Mentoring Minds to our Navigate partner network. Their success as a provider of curriculum and progressive evolution into being an edtech provider is a perfect fit for our offering,” said Mark Rankovic, Certica’s president and CEO.
WAKEFIELD, Mass. (PRWEB) July 01, 2020
Certica Solutions, provider of high-impact K-12 assessment and analytics solutions, today announced its partnership with Tyler, Texas-based Mentoring Minds to offer Certica’s Navigate Item Bank within its Itematica solution. Mentoring Minds joins the growing list of leading assessment platforms and learning management systems that offer Navigate.
Through its partnership with Certica, Itematica will provide educators with nearly 100,000 rigorous assessment items in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, and Social Studies from the Navigate Item Bank. The Navigate formative assessment items are aligned to learning standards in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Navigate also offers short, pre-built assessments for Math, ELA and the Next Generation Science Standards, as well as Spanish-translated items and reading passages.
Mentoring Minds offers an array of print and digital curriculum resources, including an instructional management platform. The addition of Navigate will provide teachers with robust formative assessment capabilities, giving them the ability to choose expertly developed test questions that closely reflect instructional goals, and create assessments to evaluate and analyze student progress toward standards mastery. With the Navigate Item Bank, teachers can gather immediate, relevant data to inform instruction and understand students’ learning strengths and weaknesses.
“Navigate’s assessment content enriches Itematica’s ability to provide teachers with high quality formative assessment and offers the opportunity to adjust instruction based on results,” said Shad Madsen, Chief Executive Officer at Mentoring Minds. “Intervention and remediation are especially important as educators plan to address learning gaps as a result of the pandemic. We are excited to provide this additional benefit for teachers who strive to support their students in reaching standards mastery.”
“We are pleased to welcome Mentoring Minds to our Navigate partner network. Their success as a provider of curriculum and progressive evolution into being an edtech provider is a perfect fit for our offering,” said Mark Rankovic, Certica’s president and CEO. “It’s terrific to see a holistic platform offering instructional management, assessment management, and reporting, and we look forward to a successful journey together with them.”
