CES 2014 Day 2 Recap – New Technology Featured on KillerApps.TV
West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- The latest technologies were unveiled when the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) opened in Las Vegas on Tuesday, January 7. The first CES took place in New York City in June of 1967. Since then, thousands of products have been announced at the yearly show, including many that have transformed consumers lives: such as the Videocassette Recorder (VCR), 1970; Compact Disc Player, 1981; High Definition Television (HDTV), 1998; 3D HDTV, 2009; Ultra HDTV, Flexible OLED, Driverless Car Technology, 2013.
Owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the 2014 CES is the world’s largest annual innovation event and took place January 7-10, 2014, in Las Vegas. The 2014 CES drew around 150,000 industry professional attendees to witness the next generation of consumer technology. More than 3,000 exhibitors debuted 20,000 new products across 1.8 million net square feet of exhibit space.

Audi A3
Audi presented its newest electronic technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas for the fourth year in a row. Among the technologies showcased at this year’s Audi stand were the integration of 4G LTE technology into Audi connect services, next-generation human-machine interface (HMI) in the Audi TT virtual cockpit as well as the introduction of laser light headlight technology, featured in the Audi Sport laserlight concept car. New 4G LTE technology, which makes its debut in the 2015 A3, allows for a faster transfer of data to the car for info on parking availability, social media and video streaming and more. The Audi TT virtual cockpit features a new, easier to use dashboard interface that allows for an easier and safer navigation of functions from the driver seat while new laser light technology emits light twice as far and three times as powerful as LED headlights. The LG Lifeband Touch (HL84-B)
The LG Lifeband Touch is a physical activity-tracking wristband with a full touch OLED display. It offers a convenient way view key fitness data such as such as time, distance, speed, number of steps taken calories burned and projected pace. For ease of use, especially when exercising, the display turns on automatically when you rotate or move your forearm upward. It also offers wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, enable data to be transmitted from the LG LifeBand to LG’s smartphone app. This connectivity also allows the LifeBand Touch to display alerts for incoming phone calls and text messages and control music when synced with a smartphone.
