Chadwick's menu is the fruit of owner Michael Evans' years of baking as a hobby, first inspired by his mother, who taught him to be fearless in trying new recipes. Decades of experience and learning have given Michael the expertise to utilize unique, globally inspired techniques in perfecting his baked creations.
Michael uses a method called Tangzhong, or water roux, to make moist, fluffy "Fun Buns" that stay fresh. Chadwick's savory, salty, olive oil pan-fried "Dough Boys" feature a focaccia crust that is airy in the middle, crispy on the bottom, and full of flavor on its own, and his signature homemade pizza sauce. Chadwick's is just getting started. There are many more items to come as Michael develops the menu and offerings.
"I've long been fascinated by the science of baking and how each ingredient interacts with the others and the importance of timing," according to Michael Evans.
