A fingerprint is a digital representation of the original data which cannot be reversed to uncover the original data, ensuring complete data security and privacy.
Either on-demand or programmatically, a fresh fingerprint can be sent to the Chainkit Verify() API, which instantly returns a response of data integrity. If the fingerprint being verified matches the original registration, you have Blockchain-powered proof that the data being stored or processed in that customer system can be trusted.
