CHAMPS Oncology to Co-Host Education Session on Standardizing System Registries

Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- CHAMPS Oncology will co-host an education session on standardizing system registries with Indiana University Health (IU Health). The all-day session, Developing Standardizations to Support System Reporting, will take place at IU Health's Fairbanks Hall in Indianapolis with staff from 19 IU Health hospitals in attendance.

Presentations at the education session on standardizing system registries will cover:

  • Healthcare Reform's Impact on Cancer Programs
  • The Cancer Quality Improvement Program (CQIP)
  • Rapid Quality Reporting System (RQRS)
  • Enhancing Cancer Registry Data Quality
  • Standards for System Reporting

A total of 6.25 CE hours will be awarded by the National Cancer Registrars Association for attendance during the all-day education session on standardizing system registries.
