Philanthropy Through Fashion Window Displays http://www.windowswear.com
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- WindowsWear, the window shopping (http://www.windowswear.com) website and the world's leading visual display and merchandising resource (http://pro.windowswear.com) that features the world’s fashion windows online in real time, partners with various charities around the world.
WindowsWear has participated in numerous charitable events and collaborated with foundations from all around the world. The company helps raise money for charities and also gives back a percentage of all proceeds from WindowsWear PRO subscription sales.
WindowsWear recently donated to the New York Police & Fire Widows and Children’s Benefit Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the families of New York public service personnel killed in the line of duty. The foundation also provides a network for families to connect and cope after their loss.
WindowsWear also supports Team in Training, a sports and race training program whose fundraising efforts go towards The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Blue Card, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to Holocaust survivors residing in the United States, is an additional charitable organization with which WindowsWear has worked.
“The generosity of The Blue Card supporters such as WindowsWear makes it possible for our organization to continue its important work of aiding needy Holocaust survivors,” said Masha Pearl, Executive Director of The Blue Card. “We are so grateful for their involvement.”
WindowsWear also works with The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE), a 501(c)(3) educational foundation, which provides university students with financial support, industry exposure, and connects educators with industry professionals – enriching curricula and encouraging retail industry dialogue. PAVE provides retail industry businesses with new, qualified talent and encourages reciprocal investment in the organization.
“I am excited to have WindowsWear as an industry partner, it will provide invaluable project ideas in the classroom and help educators and students stay current with retail trends around the world,” said Dash Nagel, Managing Director of PAVE.
The American India Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering social and economic change in India, and Nellie's Catwalk for Kids (NC4K), which focuses on making life a little easier for kids and teens with cancer, have also worked with WindowsWear.
