CHARLES COUNTY, Md., Aug. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Charles County Government Invites the Local Business Community for the Launch of the 2021 Disparity Study
Charles County Government has commissioned Griffin & Strong, P.C. to conduct a Comprehensive Disparity Study to evaluate and make improvement recommendations for procurement policies and practices. In addition, the Study will independently assess equitable participation of women and minority owned businesses.
A Disparity Study is an objective research tool whose findings of discrimination, if any, are a prerequisite to any race or gender based remedial program. Griffin & Strong, P.C. a law and public policy consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, is a nationally recognized expert in disparity research. Public participation in the Study is critical to the accuracy of the Study findings and recommendations which will result in policy recommendations to Charles County.
Griffin & Strong, P.C. will kick off the study by hosting a Virtual Public Information Meeting on September 17, 2020. This online session will provide the community with the opportunity to ask questions, to learn about the study's process, and to discuss how they can participate.
