Charlotte-based Tour Company Celebrates 15 Years of Bringing the Italian Dream to Residents of the Queen City

The Italy Experts hired renown power couple Heidi and Tom Billotto, formed by a local musician and top gastronomic celebrity, to provide delicious organic food and entertainment. The exclusive celebration was centered on honoring the 1600+ North & South Carolina returning customers.

Nada's Italy was founded by the extravagant Florence native, Nada Vergili, in 2004, an expat with a strong desire for sharing her knowledge and passion for her country and culture since relocating to the USA in 2001. Nada's dedication to her Charlotte clients is the foundation to her company's continued success for the past 15 years. Nada's early beginnings had her teaching "Survival Italian" classes throughout the Queen City – from coffee shops to book stores, lead her to an unexpected mission of making people's dreams come true. When a handful of students asked her to create a trip for them that would show them the "real Italy," away from tourist crowds, where they could experience the authentic local culture, she knew exactly where to take them. She rented a Tuscany countryside villa just thirty minutes away from her grandmother's house in Florence, hired her mother to make home-cooked meals, and a good friend to drive the group around Tuscany's hilltop villages and family-owned farms and wineries.
