According to Best College Reviews, “Topping the list at #1, Charter Oak State College offers a unique transfer policy that makes it a highly sought after college for students who are looking to complete their degree. While most academic institutions require transfer students to complete an average of 30 credit hours through its institution in order to meet graduation requirements, Charter Oak State College limits their requirements to 6 credits, a Cornerstone course, and a Senior Capstone course. This dramatically reduces the amount of time it takes a transfer student who has accumulated credits from another institution to complete their degree. Because of these credit requirements, Charter Oak is a popular place for adults returning to college to complete their degree; 91% of students are over the age of 25. Charter Oak offers some relevant workforce programs for adults looking to advance their careers, change careers, or complete their degrees.”
