Checkers Introduces LED Flare Kit for Improving Roadside Safety
Broomfield, CO (PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- Checkers Industrial Safety Products announced the immediate availability of their new, patented LED Flare Kit. The Checkers LED Flare Kit provides a series of quick setup LED warning lights that immediately alert people of upcoming hazard areas. These high visibility lights create a safer work environment for law enforcement, fire fighters, construction workers, search and rescue teams, tow trucks, ground safety crews, and anyone who is working in a hazardous or emergency area.
For maximum convenience, the Checkers LED Flare Kit was designed as an “all-in-one” unit that doubles as a charging station and organizational carrying case. The Kit includes the carrying case, six LED Flares, a car charger, a wall charger, and 12 plug protectors. For wall charging, the kit will run on 110-240V and can be customized to fit any electrical outlet. With a compact case size of 5.5” x 9.5” x 5.5” and weighing only 7.7 lbs., the Checkers LED Flare Kit can easily be stored in any vehicle for use in the event of an emergency.

Once removed from the charging station, the LED Flares automatically start flashing at a rate of 120 flashes per minute. Each flare is 4.0” x 4.0” x 1.0” and includes six LED lights that are clearly visible from 3,500 feet at night. Lens colors available include amber, red, and blue, which can be purchased in multi-colors or a single color. Checkers LED Flares run on a Lithium battery that can continually run for 6 to 8 hours between charges.
Checkers’ LED Flares are made with a heavy duty, weatherproof aluminum alloy housing that can withstand up to 20,000 lbs. They have no switches or moving parts that could break off and are waterproof up to a depth of 15 feet. Checkers’ Flares include durable traction pads on the underside to help prevent movement if the flare is run over by a vehicle.
