PHOENIX, Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Amy Serin trained Arizona therapists at Childhelp- a non-profit charity aiding victims of child abuse- as part of an ongoing partnership and campaign to reduce stress and improve therapy outcomes in Childhelp's Arizona patients.
As part of the TouchPoint Solution's conscious capitalism platform, TouchPoint partnered with Childhelp for a scholarship campaign in which TouchPoint devices were donated back to the organization. TouchPoint includes conscious capitalism as a base component of their business hosting a monthly need-based scholarship campaign to receive TouchPoints. The organization also utilizes small business vendors whenever possible and employs organizations and individuals with disabilities.
"Although TouchPoints can be used by anyone to help lower general stress, they can be a useful adjunct in therapy for abuse victims," said Chief Science Officer of TouchPoint Solution, Dr. Amy Serin. "When someone has endured abuse, they need in-the-moment access to stress relief whether they are at home, school, or in the therapy office."
"We are always looking for ways to expand our treatment for children and families served at the center," said Dr. Shef Gandhi, Director of Clinical Services at Childhelp Children's Center of Arizona. "We are thrilled to partner with TouchPoints! Touchpoints helps us provide cutting edge treatment to survivors of child abuse and neglect."
