Children's Bureau Digs Up Funds For At-Risk Children
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2016 -- Children’s Bureau Clambake raised vital funds for at-risk children and their families on June 18 at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine. More than 200 guests attended the popular charity event featuring signature cocktails, inspired cuisine, dancing under the stars to the Dwight Kennedy Band, live and silent auctions, heads and tails game to win $300, 52-card game to win a trip to Cabo San Lucas and a wine pull. Event Honorees Ingram Micro, Inc. (represented by Kevin Prewett, Sr. Director, Advanced Solutions) and Peggy Goldwater Clay were praised for their philanthropic work in the community while special recognition was given to the Youth Action Council, a group of teenage volunteers who work through Children’s Bureau’s family resource centers to help their community and neighbors. The night raised $145,000 net for Children’s Bureau’s child abuse prevention programs in Orange County.
