Popovitz, MD, co-founder and chief orthopedic surgeon of New York Bone & Joint Specialists, perform arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and arthroscopic surgery of the knee. The Chinese surgeons' goal is to learn how to improve the orthopedic surgery healthcare for patients in China.
In addition to viewing Dr. Popovitz' expertise in arthroscopic surgery, his associate, Rupesh Tarwala, MD, will provide a lecture on robotic computer technology for hip joint replacement, comparing the anterior hip replacement and posterior hip replacement approaches.
