MEXICO CITY, Sept. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Christie® will focus its participation at InfoComm Mexico 2019 (stand No. 583) on reaffirming its commitment with local clients and partners from the Mexican market, a commitment now renewed and reinforced with the launch of a local service, warranty and sales program.
At the fair, held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from August 14-16, 2019, Christie will exhibit 4K UHD resolution laser projectors, LCD panels, LED video walls, as well as the Christie Phoenix® control room processor and the Christie Mystique™ software for complex multi-projector arrays.
"Christie is committed to consolidating its relationship with its local clients and partners with a better, more efficient and faster service in Mexico; a quickly expanding market in which the demand for Pro AV, visualization and control room solutions keeps on growing," said Clayton Brito, director of the Christie Enterprise division for Latin America.
Effective immediately, sales transactions of Christie products in Mexico can be in local currency, which will prove a significant economic boost for clients and simplify transactions.
In addition, Christie has signed an agreement with the United Parcel Service (UPS) through which the logistics company will stock a wide selection of Christie filters, lamps and parts in its storage facilities in Mexico City. The agreement will greatly improve parts delivery in Mexico, reduce downtime, and provide greater efficiency.
Christie has recently named Doctor Display, a Mexican company specialized in the repair and maintenance of Pro AV equipment, as the brand's new authorized service center in Mexico.
Doctor Display will provide technical support for the whole range of Christie products (excluding cinema), such as projectors, LCD panels, LED solutions, video processors and controllers. The alliance with Doctor Display will also allow Christie to sell its products in Mexico with a local warranty, which will greatly speed up post-sales service.
Christie introduced several training and certification programs in Mexico to show its partners and clients how to use specific Christie products with much greater efficiency and precision.
Advantages of visiting the Christie stand
At InfoComm Mexico 2019, Christie will exhibit a control room solution comprising a 2x2 video wall of Christie FHD553-X LCD flat panels. An ultra-narrow bezel 55-inch LCD panel, the Christie FHD553-X offers full HD resolution, high pixel density and a LED-backlit screen.
The contents of this video wall will be managed by two Christie Phoenix nodes, Christie's open source content management system conceived specifically for control room applications.
The stand will also feature a curved screen projection using two Christie 4K10-HS projectors working in blending mode. The Christie 4K10-HS is a 1DLP® laser technology projector with 4K UHD resolution and Christie BoldColor technology providing enhanced color performance and high fidelity visuals. In addition, it is fully omnidirectional and comes with Christie Twist™ software for warping and blending. Christie Mystique, the camera-based alignment software solution created to recalibrate, align, warp and blend complex multi-projector arrays, will run this projection.
Christie will also be showcasing a LED video wall from the Christie Velvet Core Series with a 1.5 mm pixel pitch. The Core Series is ideal for digital signage applications for stalls and kiosks in shopping centers, airports and places with high footfall, but also for select business installations with limited budgets.
