Fellows enrich the Apereo community by providing technical expertise, teaching, research, community organization, support, and leadership
GILBERT, Ariz., Aug. 18, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Unicon, Inc., a leading technology consulting firm focused solely on the education ecosystem, announced today that Christopher Beach, Senior Software Developer at Unicon, has been selected as a 2022 Apereo Dolphin Fellow. These awards recognize exceptional service and contributions by individuals to the Apereo open source community. From development to project management to other acts of service and support, Apereo Fellows make important contributions to the projects within the foundation.
Chris is the openEQUELLA tech lead at Unicon, and has been involved with Apereo projects since joining Unicon in 2017. He sits on the uPortal Steering Committee and supports Unicon's Open Source Support program for uPortal. Mr. Beach is also a Subject Matter Expert in openEQUELLA, sits on the openEQUELLA Advisory Board, and was part of the Community Developer Meetings while they were being held. He has presented on openEQUELLA and uPortal topics at Open Apereo, and was vocal in the push to integrate the various projects together.
