Luxury furnishings brand Christopher Guy (CG) announced its winners from a design competition for interior design students in Mexico. The three winners were: Enrique Paul Flores Pérez: Universidad de Guadalajara, Victoria Belen Orozco Magaña: Universidad de Guadalajara, and Eduardo Isaid Aguayo Basilio: De CUAAD/Universidad de Guadalajara.
The three winners were announced on Friday, October 26 at the Hotel Fiesta Americana in Puerto Vallarta, during the Interior Design and Architecture Congress, hosted by Sociedad Mexicana De Interioristas (SMI), A.C (Mexican Society of Interior Designers, B.C.) affiliated with International Federation of Interior Architects and Designers (IFI).
All of the contestants were required to use CG's latest innovative StyleTools (found on http://www.christopherguy.com), and propose a layout for a penthouse in Beverly Hills, California USA that would be worthy of Coco Chanel.
Design proposals were judged by Sami Hayek (Founder and Head Designer of Hayek Studio), Marc Ange (Founder and Artistic Director of Bloom Room), and CG Founder Christopher Guy Harrison.
The winners will enjoy a roundtrip to Java, Indonesia where they will be able to tour the CG factory and learn about how CG pieces are made.
Mr. Harrison was invited to the Interior Design and Architecture Congress by Julio Cesar Chavez (Architect and President of SMI) as a guest and speaker for the second time. The event brings the best of design and architecture throughout Mexico.
