Cieri Media Announces A New Venture: ItalianAmerican.US
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 28, 2013 -- Cieri Media is starting a new venture for the Italian American community. They are creating a forum called ItalianAmerican.US that promotes and preserves their Italian American Heritage. They want the forum to promote the culture that contributed to a glorious mix of ideas, philosophies and beliefs, starting from Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci to the present Supreme Court judges and greatest film actors of all times.
Dennis Cieri, CEO of Cieri Media, and an Italian American himself, says that, “The point is we are as American as they come. In partnership with other Italian Americans, we want to create a forum, starting with a website, and organization to help connect our Italian American decedents to their Italian American roots, and with their help grow into an Italian American Museum. ”
They have numerous plans for the forum that will make a difference and support the Italian American community. They will have listings of local businesses, social groups, recipes, Italian language learning and more. The families can also share their history and family tree through stories and pictures in a way to preserve their lineage and for others to find common links. They are also planning to work with the Italian government to get the actual birth, death, and marriage certificates of their ancestors made available to Italians worldwide.
ItalianAmerican.US is going to be built with the help of crowd funding. They give numerous perks for the different contributions ranging from $10 to $5000 made towards ItalianAmerican.US. Those who contribute to this project will be the founding members of this forum that other Italian Americans from all over the US and the world would turn to for anything Italian in their neighborhood. As an example, one of the perks for $500 is they can make a video up to 10 minutes long of their family telling their story with as many family members as they wish and get the video put up on website. To view the other perks available, please visit their Indiegogo Campaign page.
