CIJ Holdings, Inc. – a North Carolina Cannabis holding company – and EcoTEK Industries, Inc. – a North Carolina bio-based carbon fiber alternative solution company – have entered into an agreement in which CIJ will acquire a strategic percentage of newly formed EcoTEK Industries, Inc., a Delaware C corp. This acquisition comes after EcoTEK Industries, Inc. agrees to consolidate its patents under a more attractive business structure for investment and growth. CIJ will provide business development and improve the company’s performance by leveraging the new partnership to form more stable long-term outlooks for hemp fiber producers accelerating market production of EcoTEK industries flagship patented Hemp prosthetics.
“EcoTEK makes an exceptional product from hemp and we wanted to engage them in a way that allows for the company to professionally grow and advance that patented technology into larger markets.” Said Matthew Dula, CEO of CIJ Holdings, Inc. “We will connect fiber farmers with a company producing a sustainable and in-demand product that can replace traditional carbon fiber and plastics amplifying the green footprint behind prosthetics.”
EcoTEK Industries, Inc. looks to continue developing hemp-based carbon fiber replacements for consumables that would benefit from having an eco-based alternative as well as working with university partners to conduct valuable testing, data compilation, and refinement of its current patent-based products.
