'U.S. News' Rates Llanfair in America's Best
Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 -- Llanfair Retirement Community again is recognized as one of the nation's best in "U.S. News & World Report's" Best Nursing Homes of 2014.
The continuing care retirement community's Living Center earned an overall five-star rating. It's the second year the center's health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care received the same top ranking.
Llanfair, 1701 Llanfair Ave., Cincinnati, has been helping seniors age successfully since 1957. The 14-acre campus offers independent and assisted living; rehabilitation; and long-term, memory, and in-home care.
"U.S. News" ranked more than 15,000 nursing homes for the study; about 21 percent of Ohio's homes received the same five-star rating as the Living Center.
"We strive to provide the best quality care and train our staff to be anticipatory. They're in tune with our residents' needs and wants," Administrator Miranda Sitchanoff says. "It's hard work to be successful in this industry, but that's what Llanfair is known for, dedicated and loyal staff who have a passion for working with older adults."
In its most recent satisfaction survey, 100 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the care they received at Llanfair.
"We couldn't be more pleased about another five-star recognition. We hold our mission, to provide the best quality care to those we serve, in the highest standard," Executive Director Sheena Parton says. "This second top ranking showcases our quality care, and our staff will strive to obtain and surpass it again next year and every year after."

Llanfair, which currently is welcoming independent residents into newly renovated apartments, is a Masterpiece Living community where aging is a vibrant, inspired process. Llanfair will open a brand-new rehab center later this year. Guests will stay in spacious private suites that include in-room showers and will work with certified therapists in the gym, practicing day-to-day tasks, speech and movements.
