BOSTON, Nov. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- City Realty Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Cliff Kensington to Chief Development Officer, formally recognizing the leadership and responsibilities he has assumed over the course of his tenure. Cliff joined the firm in 2015 as part of its acquisition team and has been an integral part of the firm's leadership and decision-making process ever since.
Kensington has built a strong track record overseeing the underwriting, design, and entitlement of several of City Realty's large-scale projects. His disciplined approach and cross-functional leadership have helped advance complex developments from initial evaluation through key planning and approval milestones.
The Chief Development Officer title reflects Kensington's established role in guiding the firm's development strategy and execution across its portfolio. He will continue to oversee underwriting, design, and entitlement while helping prioritize the development pipeline, evaluate project feasibility, monitor budgets and schedules, coordinate external consultants, and identify and manage development risks. Kensington will also continue working closely with senior management and capital partners to align investment strategy, project execution, and asset-level decisions with the firm's goal of optimizing portfolio performance and creating long-term value.
