City of Alpharetta Recognizes GovSense as Business of Excellence
ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 09, 2018 -- GovSense, a leading cloud-based software solution provider for state and local government, has been recognized by the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, as a Business of Excellence. The City of Alpharetta hosts an annual Business Awards Breakfast to recognize a select group of Alpharetta companies that are leaders in their industries and have won an award or special distinction in the previous year from any local or national organizations. In 2017, GovSense was recognized as a GovTech 100 company by Government Technology magazine.
The recognition breakfast event took place March 29th at The Hotel at Avalon. In addition to celebrating award-winning local organizations like InnoVergent, the event presented an opportunity for the 200 businesses being honored to come together and learn from one another. Local figures such as Alpharetta Economic Development Director Peter Tokar and Alpharetta Mayor Donald F. Mitchell were in attendance, and spoke on recent and new developments occurring in Alpharetta.

Former Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle gave the opening remarks at the Business of Excellence event, putting a strong emphasis on the correlation between successful businesses and successful communities. “The greatness of a city depends upon the greatness of its opportunities.
