SiteSeer offers more functionality than our previous tool did and for a much more affordable price. We’re excited to see what it can do.
BOISE, Idaho (PRWEB) August 10, 2018
The city of La Vergne, Tennessee, has teamed up with SiteSeer Technologies to use the SiteSeer platform.
Located outside of Nashville in the heart of middle Tennessee, La Vergne has experienced dramatic growth in the past decade and emerged from the 2010 census as the 19th largest city in Tennessee and one of the fastest growing markets in the country. The La Vergne Office of Economic Development will use SiteSeer and the Communities City Government Expansion Pack to identify opportunities for retail and restaurant expansion.
Tom Broeker, economic development specialist, says that several factors contributed to La Vergne’s need for a reliable tool to perform void and leakage analysis and run other data analytics. “Twenty-five years ago, this was a small town of 4,500 people and we’re projected to reach 45,000 by the next census,” says Broeker. “We want to use SiteSeer to help us bring good commercial retail into the city to continue to sustain our growth and provide quality of life and services to our residents. SiteSeer offers more functionality than our previous tool did and for a much more affordable price. We’re excited to see what it can do.”
La Vergne is home to the state’s largest industrial complex, making it an attractive location for international companies. The town was named by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research in November of 2010 as the 6th most business-friendly city in the state, based upon economic vitality, business tax burden, and community allure.
Broeker adds that because of La Vergne’s rapid growth, the city has experienced revenue leakage to neighboring towns that have more restaurants and other stores. “Our goal is to offer our citizens plenty of retail options so that they stay home, which will also allow La Vergne to retain those tax revenues.”
Sam Lowder, vice president of business development for SiteSeer, says that the company is excited to welcome La Vergne to its growing base of community clients. “La Vergne is a vibrant, fast-growing city that has the right idea about how to grow smart,” he says. “The entire SiteSeer team is pleased to offer this community the tools they need to recruit the right mix of retailers, restaurants and other chains.”
