Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- In its continuing commitment to give back to charitable organizations and academic institutions, Claggett & Sykes Law Firm participated in the annual Challenged Athletes Foundation San Diego Triathlon Challenge in October to help raise money for the foundation.
The personal injury attorneys from Claggett & Sykes entered two relay teams in the triathlon, a swimming, biking and running event meant to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.
“Every year I participate in this amazing race it provides me with hope and belief that the clients who we represent who have suffered terrible injuries will once again become active and be able to once again participate in athletic activities,” said attorney Sean Claggett, who completed a one-mile swim competing in a team with his partners William Sykes, who endured the 40-mile bike ride, and Matthew Granda, who ran for 10 miles.
The three partners competed with many other athletes, some of whom were paralyzed or missing limbs.
