LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Claire's Place Foundation, a non-profit organization providing support to children and families affected by cystic fibrosis (CF), welcomes Joshua Fraser, serial entrepreneur and friend of Claire Wineland, to the organization's board of directors as Fundraising Director.
At the young age of 33, Joshua Fraser has founded and sold two successful companies for over eight figures. In 2017, he attended the Thrive: Make Money Matter event hosted by philanthropists Cole and Sanja Hatter where he met Claire's Place late founder Claire Wineland. Claire spoke at the event and the two quickly became friends.
"When I met Claire that night I learned about her mission and the life that she lived. It changed my perspective on what's important," said Joshua. "I've been supporting Claire's Place ever since. My journey with Claire was life-changing and I am honored to now be part of the Board of Directors to help carry on her mission. I look forward to helping Claire's Place scale and grow to provide increased financial support to the CF community."
Joshua founded Data Nerds, an advertising company, and Estated which powers innovative businesses with reliable data in insurance, lending, real estate and energy. Today, he invests in real estate and is involved in mentorship programs for startups in the rapidly growing technology sector.
"Joshua has been a valued Claire's Place supporter and friend, I am thrilled to welcome him to our board, and it is particularly meaningful today, Claire's birthday," said Claire's Place Foundation Executive Director Melissa Yeager. "His skillset and passion is a great fit to help us grow our non-profit organization to expand our impact."
Today, April 10th, would have been Claire's 26th birthday. To honor her, Claire's Place is featuring CF community birthdays on their Instagram.
