Clarify Launches Audio Search & Analytics into Full Production
Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 01, 2014 -- Today Clarify, Inc is proud to announce the production availability of its platform, which gives developers access to complex audio and language processing technologies via a simple API. ompanies that have built applications during the beta period, can now transition these to production with full confidence of success.
According to BetterVoice CEO Lyle Pratt, “BetterVoice is proud to launch with Clarify and welcomes a new era of audio analytic capabilities to power the mobile communication applications of the future.”
Furthermore, according to Yalo’s Founder and CTO Yosi Taguri, “Clarify’s technology will allow consumers and small business to access features that traditionally only large enterprises could afford. Even better, we were able to integrate Clarify in a matter of days.” Yalo provides VoIP to consumers and small businesses.
The Clarify platform allows developers to embed audio and video search directly into their mobile and web applications with a few lines of API code. The platform ingests media files, extracts their content, and then indexes both the spoken words and any metadata associated with the media. A powerful search interface then allows developers to discover when particular words were spoken. This capability is critical in a wide range of applications, and developers are already taking advantage of them.
BetterVoice and Yalo recognize that recorded conversations are much more valuable if they can be searched and retrieved. Companies in the media and education spaces have also realized that making their video content discoverable is important to their users.
Paul Murphy, Clarify’s CEO said: “The Clarify team is thrilled that the beta program went so well. The fact that BetterVoice and Yalo are immediately putting their Clarify-enhanced applications into private beta is a testament to the business need for our technology. Advanced signal processing, automated speech recognition, and natural language processing that turn unstructured information into actionable data will soon be common elements of our computing infrastructure.”
Clarify Inc. is headquartered in Austin, TX and is backed by Projector Capital and several prominent California and Texas Angel investors. The technology is based on IP developed by OP3NVoice, an alumnus of TechStars, the Fintech Innovation Lab, and the BBC Media Lab. Clarify is a Capital Factory Incubator company.
