OKLAHOMA CITY, March 14, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Climate Control Group announced today that it has appointed Joe Parsons as its Senior Marketing Sustainability Manager. In his new role, Joe Parsons will act as ambassador and leader in delivering CCG's message of renewable and sustainable technologies.
"Joe offers a wealth of experience in renewable and sustainable technologies," said Lorie Quillin-Bell, VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Climate Control Group. "His knowledge and industry influence make him a superior candidate to serve as an ambassador for Climate Control Group's renewable and sustainable product solutions."
Joe Parsons has worked in the HVAC industry for over 40 years with a focus on renewables and geothermal heat pumps. For the past four years, Joe has served as Sr. Product Manager for the leading geothermal heat and water source heat pump manufacturer, ClimateMaster, a Climate Control Group company. Previously, he was president and CEO of EarthLinked Technologies, a Florida based manufacturer of geothermal heat pumps.
A long-time advocate of sustainable solutions, Joe has collaborated with industry experts to influence industry direction and legislation at local, state, federal and international levels.
- In 2014 he was elected to the Geothermal Exchange Organization (GEO) board of directors and served as its chairman from 2016-2018.
- He is a founding member of NY-GEO and currently sits on its advisory board and is an officer and director of the California Geothermal Heat Pump Association.
- Joe has twice served as AHRI Geothermal and Water Source Product Section chair and board member. An ASHRAE member since 1998, he participates in TC 6.8 activities and has served as the chair of ASHRAE standards committee SPC 194 on multiple occasions.

As a priority in his new position, he is focused on education to leverage these tax incentives for both commercial and residential applications to accelerate the adoption of geothermal solutions on a national scale.
When further asked the value that Joe Parsons brings, Lorie Quillin-Bell had this to say. "As an industry advocate, he is passionate about educating the public on the financial and environmental benefits of water source heat pumps, geothermal systems, and greener HVAC solutions.
