Clippers Spirit and Laker Girls Make Long Beach Nursing Home Resident’s “Happy”
(PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- Broadway by the Sea, a Long Beach skilled nursing facility, recently welcomed the LA Clippers Spirit and the LA Laker Girls to boost the morale of those in the community. The girls spent time visiting with the patients and posed for photos. The residents were able to watch as the girls performed one of their dance routines. Afterwards the Spirit and Laker girls spent time visiting with all of the patients, posing for photos, and autographing team pictures to give to all of the residents. Administrator Spencer Nordfelt said, "Everyone absolutely loved it and the residents told me they felt like they had celebrities in the facility. These ladies did this on their free time and it was a big boost to the morale in the building."
Broadway by the Sea documented the fun time in their “Happy” video. “This video really shows the fun spirit of our building and shows off how we like to give our residents a great and happy time,” said Carrie Villa, Director of Nursing.
