CloudOne Named Top 100 Best Places to Work in Indiana
(PRWEB) February 17, 2016 -- CloudOne (http://www.oncloudone.com), a leader in bringing enterprise applications to the cloud and providing a platform for IoT services and solutions, announced today it has made its debut on the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 11th annual list of “Best Places to Work in Indiana” in the small employer category (those employing 15 to 74 people nationwide and at least 15 in Indiana). Small companies lead the way on the 2016 list, with nearly half (48) of the 100 honorees coming from that category.
“The companies selected represent some of our most outstanding Hoosier employers. They embrace the idea that a positive work culture that includes respect, communication, opportunity and being part of a team not only makes it a place in which employees want to work, but also fuels the success of the company,” states Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar.
Winners were selected from four categories: small companies of between 15 and 74 U.S. employees; medium companies of between 75 and 249 U.S. employees; large companies of between 250 and 999 U.S. employees; and major companies with 1,000 or more U.S. employees. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana.
“It’s a great honor to have CloudOne named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana,” said John McDonald, CEO of CloudOne. “Our entire team is focused on creating a strong and supportive company culture that allows us to help the world’s best companies make their things for the Internet of Things. Our employees are beyond all measure the best in the world at what they do and therefore this award holds special significance.”
All companies that participated in the 2016 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 27 other states.
Actual rankings for the companies will be unveiled at a May 5 awards dinner presented in partnership with Hylant, at the Indiana Convention Center (Sagamore Ballroom) in downtown Indianapolis. In addition, winners will be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s bimonthly BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick – both of which reach statewide audiences. Additional program partners are the Best Companies Group, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Indiana State Council of SHRM and the Wellness Council of Indiana. The 2016 Best Places to Work in Indiana awards dinner is open to the public. Individual tickets and tables are available at http://www.indianachamber.com/specialevents.
