CloudRanger Joins AWS Public Sector Partner Program

In tandem with achieving the new AWS certifications, CloudRanger has introduced Automated Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) Snapshots, enabling organizations to more simply create a backup of volumes, even when they are in use, by quickly freezing the volume and briefly suspending the write operation, buffering any new data so it can be added after the backup is completed. This ensures key data is securely backed up, even if in use during a backup. CloudRanger’s new feature allows users to select a checkbox to utilize Automated VSS Snapshots as part of the backup process without any need for scripting.
