CloudShare, the business acceleration cloud company, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Amir Hofman to the post of chief product officer (CPO). Hofman possesses more than two decades of leadership in this realm for technology companies and will oversee CloudShare’s long term product vision, strategic direction and development.
CloudShare’s virtual labs accelerate time to value. Typical customers include technology enterprises, like providers of software and IT services, that need to deliver hands-on, real-world experiences. Complex scenarios are easily replicated and environments spun up in seconds. Organizations can provide powerful sales demos and PoCs with greater efficiency and speed. Self-paced, instructor-led training and events can handle groups of all sizes. And not only are cycles compressed, enterprises can track and analyze engagement to shed light on user behavior, continually boosting performance and increasing ROI.
“CloudShare has smart people, motivated teams and industry-leading technology that’s continually being enhanced,” said Hofman. “Whether you’re training customers on your latest software or trying to get through to sales prospects, the new virtual norm requires solutions that can provide hands-on experiences in real-world scenarios. Our business acceleration cloud and purpose-built tools make it easy, while providing the scale to drive outputs and return the highest customer value.”
Hofman has deep expertise in technical architecture and software development having led large global operations and multi-functional teams involved in product creation, engineering and user experience (UX). Previously he was vice president of product for Bizzabo, the world’s first event success platform. Prior to that he held the same position for enabely, the training platform formerly called Time to Know. Hofman was also head of product line for Jungo, a leading provider of middleware software for residential gateways that was acquired by Cisco.
“Despite the market consolidation that’s taken place in recent years, we’ve continued to experience strong growth,” said Dr. Zvi Guterman, CEO of CloudShare. “Key to this success is providing customers with the performance they need to compete, greater efficiency and peace-of-mind in knowing that we’ll be here in the future to support them. Amir’s understanding of the user experience, and leadership of large global teams, further strengthens operations and will build upon our momentum.”
