Cloudticity, a pioneer in providing HIPAA-compliant cloud solutions, is excited to announce the hiring of Chris Whaley as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Whaley will work with healthcare organizations on finding innovative ways to make the patient experience better using cloud technology.

As a technology leader with more than 20 years of experience, he’ll also strengthen relationships with Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners, aligning Cloudticity’s solutions with specific healthcare application challenges.

“Chris’ experience and thought leadership will help us continue creating a happier, healthier world,” said Gerry Miller, Founder and CEO of Cloudticity. “He has a long track record of aligning customer needs with the services we offer. The net result is healthcare organizations will be able to better serve their patients.”

Whaley comes to Cloudticity from NTT DATA, one of the largest healthcare consultancies in the world, where he most recently served as Vice President, Head of Digital and Cloud Services. Prior to that, he worked in cloud services at Dell Technologies for more than eight years.

In his position at Cloudticity, Whaley will work on uncovering industry-focused cloud solutions for clients that need a partner with a deep understanding of healthcare compliance.

“If you look at trends in public cloud adoption for enterprise, we see a need for partners with specialized capabilities and use cases,” Whaley said. “We believe that’s where the market is going, and Cloudticity is a leader in healthcare.”

Cloudticity has earned several healthcare industry accomplishments, including HITRUST Certification, AWS Advanced Partner status with Healthcare and DevOps competencies, and AWS Audited Managed Services Provider status.
