CM First Announces the Latest Release of CM MatchPoint ALM - Available Now
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) September 28, 2018 -- CM First announces the general availability of its top application lifecycle management solution, CM MatchPoint ALM version 6.5, a major release with expanded capabilities, performance improvements, and expanded server options. 6.5 is a major release that expands environment options to include Linux and Windows servers - an IBM i machine is no longer required. CM MatchPoint can now be used by any CA Plex customer regardless of platform.
Additional major functionality improvements delivered in the 6.1 and 6.5 release include an improved subversion connector, automated generation capability using CA Plex lists, and integration with automated testing tools.
SVN Connector
Release 6.5 adds functionality to the SVN connector to maintain the CA Plex Group model with the SVN Repository. With this new functionality MatchPoint can use a subversion repository to control the Group Model versioning and automates the process of extracting and updating group models managed with subversion. The SVN Connector also provides the option to have an individual developer subversion repository for the local models.
Auto-Generation
The new module allows developers to generate and build for the C++, C# and Java platforms automatically without supervision. This can be a standalone process or integrated with the MatchPoint Ticketing system to generate and build CA Plex objects automatically. This module is useful for long unattended generation and build processes.
Technical Details of 6.5:
- JAVA Backend: The New release backend has been moved from RPG to JAVA.
- The new backend gives more flexibility to MatchPoint as this can be run on Windows or Linux machines and support database connection to DB Managers via JDBC*
*Supported JDBC connection out of box MS SQL and IBM iSeries
