The program began with an overview of the entire workshop, followed by Charles B. Nemeroff, M.D., Ph.D. (Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, University of Miami) leading a state-of-the-art discussion of personalized medicine in psychiatry including genomics, inflammation, endocrine markers and brain imaging findings.
