CMP Resolutions win grievance investigations contract with Transport for London
(PRWEB UK) 26 February 2014 -- As an independent investigation contractor CMP Resolutions will investigate and provide reports in cases of alleged bullying and harassment and complex grievances among its 28,000 staff.
The new contract will also be available to the Greater London Authority and its Functional Bodies.
This support service offers TfL flexibility in terms of capacity, and enables TfL’s HR specialists to focus on the strategic direction for the organisation. CMP Resolutions will be carrying out interviews and producing reports of their fact-finding investigations so as to enable TfL to reach conclusions and determine any necessary action. As the winning service provider, CMP Resolutions will be using its expertise to ensure a thorough and sensitive approach to investigations and the appropriate interpretation and assessment of the evidence in the context of the relevant laws and TfL’s policies.
Emma Sanders, Head of People Management Advisors at TfL said:
“CMP’s investigators will be accountable for working within the terms of reference set by TfL at the start of each investigation, and TfL’s People Management Advisors will be central to managing and quality assuring this service, and I look forward to working with CMP over the lifetime of the contract.”
Managing Director at CMP Resolutions, Katherine Graham, says:
“We’ve worked with London Underground in the past, and their commitment to dignity at work really resonated with us. So we’re looking forward to becoming familiar with all the services in the TfL portfolio which are so central to the smooth running of London’s workers and visitors. The benefits of using an external supplier to carry out the legwork of an investigation are becoming clearer to many employers, and being awarded this contract to provide grievance investigations to the wider organisation of TfL feels like a real testimony to our expertise.”
