Adam Sweeney, founder of lead generation agency Coaching Accelerator, has been accepted into the Forbes Business Council, following two years in which the company has served more than 300 coaching businesses and booked over 10,000 sales calls.
NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Adam Sweeney, Founder of Coaching Accelerator, has been accepted into the Forbes Business Council, an invitation-only community for successful business owners and leaders. The acceptance follows rapid growth at the agency, which Sweeney founded just over two years ago at the age of 31 and which has since served more than 300 coaching businesses.
Coaching Accelerator runs done-for-you LinkedIn lead generation for solopreneur coaches across the United States and Canada, handling prospect research, outreach copy and account management, and booking qualified meetings directly into clients' calendars. It has booked over 10,000 qualified sales calls on clients' behalf and built a 4.9 rating on Google and 4.8 on Trustpilot.
The company is built on a commercial model that runs against the grain of its industry. Most lead generation agencies sell high-ticket retainers on long-term contracts, concentrating their effort on the front-end sale, which means they are paid in full whether or not the work performs. Coaching Accelerator reversed that: the agency carries the risk instead of the client. It offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for any reason and commits to a minimum number of booked meetings every billing cycle, if it falls short, it pauses the billing.
"We did it because we were listening to the market," said Sweeney. "Solopreneur coaches don't have the giant marketing budgets that tech companies have, and they need to be able to give the work a proper run before seeing a return on investment. Most agencies get paid whether or not they deliver, and then lose those clients the moment the contract term is up. We built ours so that we only make money if clients stay long term, and clients only stay if the work produces meetings and those meetings produce sales. It puts us on the same team. If they don't win, we don't win."
Sweeney describes the change as one of the most impactful decisions the agency has made. Retention, onboarding rates and customer satisfaction all rose following it, and the company now reports 95% monthly client retention, a figure well above typical agency benchmarks.
Sweeney was selected for the Forbes Business Council by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience in sales and outbound lead generation, and has already founded three agencies at the age of 33, bootstrapping every one without any outside investment. Sweeney prides himself on his unconventional path, and says everything he knows has come from a high volume of work with trial and error as his teacher. As a member, he will be sharing his expertise by producing original insights in published articles and contributing to Expert Panels on Forbes.com.
Sweeney's track record as an entrepreneur began some distance from business. Born in Denmark to young parents who separated early, Sweeney moved repeatedly between Denmark and Ireland through his childhood and teenage years. He left school at 15, and with university off the table he went into sales as a young adult. After honing his craft in sales for several years, he landed a remote sales role while living in Australia at 24, which allowed him to work while travelling, and he spent the following years moving between continents with his dog, Tyson. At 26 he found his home in Medellín, Colombia, where he founded his first lead generation agency and began his entrepreneurship journey.
