Codorníu Raventós Announces its Merger with Gleva Cellars and the Appointment of a New CEO

Codorníu Raventós Board of Directors have approved a merger with Gleva Cellars and appointed Ramón Raventós Basagoiti as CEO of the enlarged group.

Ramón Raventós (43), CEO of Gleva Cellars, will become CEO of the combined entity. He has extensive experience in the cava and wine industry and, under his leadership, Gleva Cellars have experienced important developments of its vineyards, positioning its brands as a reference in the Premium segment.

Today Gleva Cellars is one of the fastest growing companies in the sector, with brands such as Parxet, Mont-Ferrant, Titiana, Tionio, Basagoiti, Portal del Montsant and Codorníu de Alella.

The merger with Gleva Cellars is expected to close before the end of the year, upon receiving formal approvals.
