Colonial Toyota welcomes a pair new family-friendly platforms to its showroom
The 2021 versions of the Toyota Sienna and Toyota Highlander each bring exciting elements to some of the most competitive segments in the automotive industry.
MILFORD, Conn., Nov. 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- From top to bottom, the Toyota class of 2021 might be the most fuel-efficient to arrive at dealerships like Colonial Toyota ever. Not only has the automaker introduced some new hybrid models to its lineup for 2021, but Toyota has also applied its cutting-edge hybrid technology to more of its legacy vehicle platforms. The 2021 Toyota Sienna has finally been made available in the Milford area with its standard hybrid powertrain that will improve fuel economy without sacrificing necessary capability like towing capacity. Additionally, the 2021 Toyota Highlander has also been delivered to the showroom, which has something very special to offer potential owners. The team of product experts at Colonial Toyota is very excited to get information about these vehicles' arrival to the dealership.
The Toyota Sienna holds a special place within the automaker's inventory. In the several years it has been available, the Sienna platform continues to be the easiest way to carry a lot of people and/or cargo. For the new model year, the 2021 Sienna went through a complete redesign that can make up to 101 cubic-feet of cargo volume available or an interior that will be able to hold up to eight passengers. Even when the 2021 Sienna is compared to its traditional rivals, the Toyota minivan continues to offer excellent dimensions for legroom.
With that in mind, the major development Toyota introduced for the 2021 Sienna is its standard hybrid engine. The bulk of the minivan's power will be provided by a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that is attached to the Toyota hybrid system. When both sources of power are working together, it will make up to 245 net horsepower. While this is slightly less available horsepower, the 2021 Sienna can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Additionally, the new Sienna hybrid will be able to record up to 36 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway.
A Colonial Toyota customer looking for the same level of passenger capacity, but in a crossover SUV form should take a look at the 2021 Toyota Highlander. The biggest change for the 2021 Highlander is the addition of the all-new XSE trim grade. It will feature all-wheel-drive and several other trim-exclusive feature to provide a unique ownership experience. From there the 2021 Highlander will still be outfitted with a standard V-6 engine and an interior that can be configured to make up to 84.3 cubic-feet available.
