ColoradoCIO announced the winners of its 2020 CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards. ColoradoCIO recognized chief information officers in seven key categories – Leadership, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Large Corporate, Corporate and Public Sector. The Colorado CIO of the Year Awards were presented in a virtual format.

›› Paul Algreen, CIO, Janus Henderson Investors, received the Global ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.
›› Craig Richardville, SVP & CIO, SCL Health, received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $2.5 billion annual revenue.
›› Aaron Everett, VP IT, Lucky’s Market, received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $850 million annual revenue.
›› Wayne White, CIO, Startek, received the Large Corporate ORBIE for organizations over $400 million annual revenue.
›› Dr. Wes Williams, VP & CIO, Mental Health Center of Denver, received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $400 million annual revenue.
›› Dr. Theresa Szczurek, CIO & Executive Director, Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT), received the Public Sector ORBIE for government & education organizations.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 1,000 CIOs have been honored as finalists and over 200 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award.
