Columbus To Host Inaugural Startup Week May 4-8, Powered By Chase

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) April 06, 2015 -- Entrepreneurs, startups and those who support them are invited to join Columbus Startup Week, powered by Chase, May 4-8, 2015. The free collection of events has been created to inspire and strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial community. More than 70 keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and networking events – free and open to all (registration required) – will take place at venues across the community.

Programming for Columbus Startup Week has been built to reflect the unique attributes of our startup community. Sessions will focus on eight tracks:

  • Advanced Materials
  • Business
  • Design
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Food/Beverage
  • Healthcare
  • Retail/Fashion
  • Technology

In addition to the events within each track, there are number of other events designed to celebrate entrepreneurship, including:

  • Opening and closing parties
  • Networking and happy hours
  • Gathering at Columbus Clippers game

Leaders from Columbus’s entrepreneurial community are still finalizing Startup Week speakers and agendas. Interested volunteers may contact columbus(at)startupweek(dot)co.

WHERE:
#ChaseBasecamp, located at Lumos Columbus, 99 E. Main St., at the corner of Third and Main downtown, will serve as the central hub for the week. Attendees will be able to recharge, network and take in a variety of Columbus Startup Week programming.

WHEN:
The opening ceremony for Columbus Startup Week will take place at Chase Basecamp on Monday, May 4 at 9 AM. Sessions will be scheduled throughout the week. A full event schedule is available on the registration site.

REGISTRATION:
Registration for Columbus Startup Week events opens Fri., April 3 at columbus.startupweek.co Events are free and open to all, but space is limited. Registration is required.
