Understanding the body and soul is at the core of the 2019 iaedp™ Symposium, hosting hundreds of professionals in the field of eating disorders. During this year’s conference, held February 7-10 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert, California, participants once again will attend the most comprehensive, creative and innovative educational program available in the eating disorders field. Professionals also can look forward to a daily yoga program in a therapeutic setting conducted before each conference day begins.

The schedule offers specialized and unique yoga activity on each day of the four-day conference.

Thursday, February 7
6:00 a.m.
“Release and Renew” with Lori Haas, LCSW, CEDS, 500 hr CYT, Healing Emphasis Yoga (HEY) Therapist
This yoga class will lead through simple Flow-style poses to release any stress and move toward a refreshed, present state of mind. Take home three tools to relax, renew and revitalize the mind and body.

Friday, February 8
6:00 a.m.
“Peaceful Flow” with Lori Haas, LCSW, CEDS, 500 hr CYT, Healing Emphasis Yoga (HEY) Therapist
This yoga class will engage breath, mindful movement and peaceful intention to cultivate well-being and inner nourishment. Experience simple “take home tools” for self-care to create more conscious and connected living.

Saturday, February 9
6:00 a.m.
“Yang to the Yin” with Lori Haas, LCSW, CEDS, 500 hr CYT, Healing Emphasis Yoga (HEY) Therapist
This Slow Flow yoga class will balance breath with movement (Yang energy) evolving toward stillness, inner peace and deeper consciousness (Yin energy).

Sunday, February 10
6:00 a.m.
“Compassion Yoga Flow and Glow” with Lori Haas, LCSW, CEDS, 500 hr CYT, Healing Emphasis Yoga (HEY) Therapist
Leveraging the Healing Emphasis Yoga for the clinician and helper in you, experience Self-Compassion yoga therapeutic tools to nurture, rejuvenate and feel grounded.
