In a recent Updox survey, 42 percent of Americans have used telehealth services since the pandemic began and 82 percent of those who used telehealth services say they love/like it. When asked about preferences for using telehealth following COVID-19, 51% of respondents said convenience was most important to them, and 49% said that they wanted to be able to choose their provider rather than be assigned a healthcare professional for telehealth services. While telehealth plays a vital role in delivering safe, secure care during the pandemic, in a post-COVID world, virtual care offers opportunities for increased patient and staff satisfaction and improved efficiencies.
