Commons Named Manager of Stanley Consultants’ Bismarck Office
Bismarck, ND (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Dustin Commons, P.E., has been promoted to manager of Stanley Consultants’ Bismarck, North Dakota Office.
Commons is a licensed professional engineer with 26 years of transportation engineering experience. He joined Stanley Consultants in 2012 as a senior project manager and transportation department manager in the firm’s Boise, Idaho office, and recently relocated to Bismarck to manage the North Dakota operations. Commons is joined by Joey Rezac, a transportation engineer with a degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University, and a staff of designers, construction managers, and surveyors.
The company’s local office, located at 600 South Second Street in Bismarck, opened in May 2012. With a focus on transportation, energy and water resources, the office provides planning, engineering, structural and civil design, environmental/NEPA services, and construction management services for state, local and private clients, as well as access to the nationally recognized engineering firm’s full spectrum of services.
“Though our local office is just a few years old, Stanley Consultants has been providing services to North Dakota clients for 50 years,” said Commons. “They range from flood protection and municipal water and wastewater plants to planning and DOD airbase projects. We’re excited to add transportation to our North Dakota services list.”
The firm is currently providing design services for the rehabilitation of 21 miles of Highway 20 in Jamestown and construction engineering services for 13 miles of Highway 22 widening, 23 miles of Highway 40 seal coat, and 18 miles of Highway 50 seal coat. Other recent local projects include the redesign of two U.S. Highway 83 intersections, assessment of the condition of road signs throughout the Bismarck District, and construction inspection and construction administration on a number of local road widening and resurfacing projects.
